Dr. Elena Labarta is a gynaecologist specialized in Human Reproduction and Assisted Reproductive Techniques, working in IVIRMA Valencia, Spain, since 2005.
Member of the executive committee of the Spanish Society of Fertility (SEF).
Associate professor of the University of Valencia.

She obtained the title of Master in Research Methodology (University of Barcelona, 2008); Master in advanced gynaecological endoscopic surgery (University of Valencia, 2009) and the Master Level in Reproductive Endoscopic Surgery by the ESHRE-ECRES programme (2017). Doctor Cum Laude in Medicine (University of Valencia, 2014). Degree in nutrition, medicine and women’s hormonal health (ICNS, 2022). University expert in Emotional Intelligence with specialization in coaching techniques and emotional facilitation of people and teams (UNIR, 2023).
Since 2005, she has had the privilege of being part of the research team at IVIRMA Valencia, playing the role of researcher. During this time, she has actively participated in various clinical research projects, including phase II-III clinical trials. Her contribution has been reflected in the publication of more than 50 scientific articles and 45 chapters in specialized books.
Additionally, she has had the honour of sharing her knowledge through more than 180 presentations in conferences both nationally and internationally. This commitment of hers to scientific dissemination has led her to be a reviewer for several prestigious international journals.
Currently, her research work focuses on two main areas: the predictive value of serum progesterone level in embryo transfer cycles and the management of the luteal phase. She is recognized internationally for her contributions in these fields.
